My favorite Web site is snopes.com. Snopes.com is the best place to go when you get those forwarded emails from your friends that attempt to scare you with info about taxes, breast cancer screenings, political rants, etc. A quick search through Snopes will usually tell when the email originated and how much truth (usually very little) is contained in the email. Snopes collects and catalogues various urban legends which have appeared in both print and electronic media. In addition to invalidating those pesky forwarded messages, Snopes can just be great fun to browse around. You never know how much n nonsense people believe until you check out Snopes.com.

I would go back to those good old days when I was a child in elementary school. Those were the best days of my life. The days where skipping school and saying you were sick did not matter. No one cared about what you did, as long as it wasn’t substantially that bad. Life was good. It was all about playing games and enjoying the sports. There was no sense of responsibility and everything was a child’s playground. I miss the stress free days in life and if I had a chance I would definitely go back to those good old days and enjoy every minute of it without hesitation.

We people use dog collars on our pets to signify ownership, control, identification and medical information. These are all aspects of pet management that society requires. We also like to let other people know what we think about life and our particular pursuits of happiness, and that is where creative dog collars come in. We’re all accustomed to seeing a bulldog with a spiked leather collar, but it becomes hilarious when we see a Yorkie or a Chihuahua in one. Similarly, a Great Dane or a Doberman with pink leather dog collars studded with rhinestones and marabou feathers instantly seems anachronistic, and humorous. Dog collars can break the ice and start conversations with people we don’t know, and help our animals make new friends by removing barriers normally associated with specific breeds. A German shepherd with a chain collar might be intimidating; a German shepherd with a bandanna around his neck seems like someone you might want to play Frisbee with. We can let the dog collars we use speak volumes for our pets.

The hardest thing I had to do was write a 65 page paper on a topic I had no interest in. I find it very difficult to do something that is against my interests. It feels like suffocation for me. But when I have no choice and I need to meet requirements for a certain course, I have to push myself to do the paper. But I find myself getting unhappier by the minute. I am a freedom loving person and I hate doing something I just don’t want to do or something I have no interest in. Writing a 65 page paper on a topic that I had no interest in really frustrated me and made me hate the course, as well as the professor.

I enjoy shopping. Shopping is a big hobby for me. Any chance I get I will try to find some good deals and buy things for the sake of buying them. I also love music. I listen to music every hour of the day and I love all genres of music. I love the piano and enjoy taking some time out to make my own beats on the piano. Recently, I’ve also found myself to be a bit of a fitness freak. I’ve purchased some videos of the Biggest Loser Workout which I now appreciate. I also perform yoga on a daily basis and it helps relax my mind.

The funniest thing I’ve ever seen is a student stand up to a professor. I thought it was pretty funny and amusing because no student will have the guts to tell a professor that he is wrong in front of a huge lecture hall of students. It was funny because I knew the student personally and knowing that he is very serious and respectful of teachers, it was funny seeing him tell the professor off. There were some consequences that the student would face of course, seeing that the professor did not tolerate the student’s behavior. It was amusing to watch the professor tense up in the class, because he did not know how to respond to the student’s words.

I had many group assignments for school and as a result had to meet with group members numerous times over the break. I also went shopping and caught some great deals. I also had some Easter shopping to do. I ended up buying a load of chocolate, and also eating it as well. I also baked a few cakes for a charity fundraiser, and they turned out to be pretty amazing. Other than that, I had to study for some exams. I also spent about half of my time sitting on the computer watching movies and television episodes. I had to catch up with my favorite show Gossip Girl.

I usually get finance tips from this website, as well as information on parenting and lifestyle matters. They almost always feature the Style of The Week and do a critique of your favorite celebrities. This section is actually very amusing for me and I am always sure to browse through this. Any time I need information on the up to date matters of life, I go on msn.com to receive the latest news. It is a reliable source and definitely peaks my interest.

Last week, on both Tuesday and Thursday morning, I babysat from 8:00am until noon. I have babysat for this family before, but it was always at night, or on the weekends, never during a week day. I guess their regular nanny was on vacation for the week, and I was helping to fill in for the mornings when the mother needed to go spend some time at work. I got there at 8:00 in the morning, when the two older kids were finishing up breakfast and getting ready to go to kindergarten/preschool. Then, after the mom had taken one to the bus stop, and come back to take the other to school, I stayed home with the baby. I played with the baby until it was time to walk over to the preschool to pick up one of the older kids. On Tuesday I put the baby in the stroller for the walk. The preschool is on the same campus as my college, and I got a lot of weird looks from classmates as I pushed a baby stroller around on campus!
