Weekend Fun!
Today I woke up at 1:30 pm, I tried sleeping through the pain. The day before, I broke my knee during soccer practice. The pain was indescribable, sleep was hard to get, for every movement required my knee to be moved. When I woke up I decided that I was going to watch my younger brother play Halo reach. That got boring fast, I made my slow decent the stairs, after 10 min of getting down I had a slice of apple pie and a glass of milk. Thirty minutes later my family and I went to willies to have some burgers. There’s nothing better than a good old burger. Came back and went to sleep.
An Indian Wedding

Wedding in India is a very important function. It marks the coming together of not only a couple but also their families. Most Indian weddings are a lavish an pompous affair .Preparations start almost a year in advance. Relatives purchase clothes and jewelry for the couple. Caterers are hired and menu consisting of numerous dishes decided on. A few days back I attended the wedding ceremony of my friend. The function started with the groom, accompanied by his relatives, coming with fan fare to the bride’s place. This procession is called a baraat. The baraat was welcomed by the bride’s parents and offered sweets. This was followed by the wedding ceremony, conducted by a the priest or pandit. Finally, we all sat down and enjoyed the lavish meal laid out for us. The ceremony ended with the groom taking away the bride, called Bidai.

Dogs have been the loyal friend of humans from the pre-historic times itself. Everyone who has a dog as their pet must be proud that they have got an opportunity to nurture one of the wonderful beings on earth.
