Dallas Is Shiny’ And Pretentious

I live in Dallas, Texas. It’s one of the largest and fastest-growing metropolitan areas, according to Forbes and Yahoo Real Estate. It is home to a former president and countless notorious CEOs, as well as America’s most-hated football team. It’s also very new: most of its downtown landmarks were constructed in the past thirty years. Many banks, telecom companies, high-tech software companies, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing corporations, and multinational law firms have relocated to this area, and with them came transplants from the East and West Coasts. So, unlike most of the South, Dallas lacks the trademark Southern hospitality. Instead, it’s filled with nouveau riche and all their ostentatiousness. But, also unlike most of the South, the newcomers to Dallas instilled a sense of environmental appreciation in this new city. As the city has grown and expanded, developers have leaned toward urban planning and green initiatives. Shopping centers and schools are placed close to residential high-rises (or on the same property in most new construction plans), and these are built near major centers of commerce and industry. Parks are being placed everywhere the city can put one’even over highways. Dallas also sports a rich and diverse population, and one that is not so easily segregated into little homogenous ethnic neighborhoods. Maybe, despite its prickly nature and pretentiousness, Dallas can learn to be a model city.

Today I wore what I usually wear: jeans and a snarky T-shirt. Because I haven’t done the laundry on time, the jeans were the same ones I wore yesterday, but they did not stink and didn’t have any stains from grubby little toddler hands pulling at my legs. They are generic Avenue jeans (I’m not emaciated enough to wear anything fancy) that actually make me look thinner. My T-shirt was a souvenir from the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C. It is black, with the words: ‘International Spy Museum — Washington DC.’ The words alternate in red and white ink, with the lettering in dicey block print, which I suppose is meant to resemble the red ‘TOP SECRET’ stamps one sees on files in nearly every spy movie. I also wore some comfortable Nike shoes.

Obesity is as harmful to them as to humans. These factors vary from one dog to other, except some commonalities. By keeping all these in your mind, you could provide any food which satisfies all the needs of the dog.
