I sometimes find it hard to believe that political positions are actually the positions that elicit the most change, therefore if I really wanted to make a difference, I would start a not-for-profit organization to help kids struggling to finish school. I believe that the number one reason why our school system is failing us is that children do not get enough attention. When kids don’t get enough attention, they act out and the punishment for that acting out is often less than helpful. I would work with the local school system to offer afterschool programs and study help to those students who want to participate and I would make a contract with the school that would mandate that each student sent to afterschool or weekend disciplinary detention, instead be sent to the afterschool program where we would work on study skills, respect and most importantly do community service projects to help the kids feel like their efforts can make a difference in the world.

I’m not going to lie it was partly because I’m awesome at it and I loved winning (typical middle child). I played this game with my three sisters and often with my best friend. We even played it into our teens! My best friend and I loved the entire old-fashioned theme of the game and even hosted a Clue dinner party once in high school. We ate dinner solved the mock-live action mystery and then watched the awesome Clue movie starring Tim Curry. How could you not love a game that opens up that much theme possibility.

I think You Shall Know Our Velocity by Dave Eggers truly did change my life, or at least my mind. I have always been interested and felt socially obligated to give back to the world in a big way. I have been volunteering since I was very young and have always had plans to do so in the future but I never could have imagined that a person would give so selflessly of themselves as Dave Eggers’ character did in this book. Not only was his giving selfless, it was also creative, finding ways to truly change the lives of people he had spent time with and found to be abundantly deserving.

I don’t consider my day’s engagements to really get over until I find time, even among toughest of the schedules, to spend with my `Jimmy’. Not only he is sharp and smart, but he is also well-trained to stay as our chief security the whole of night, ensuring that outsiders hardly get a chance to make their way in. Nevertheless, for all the hard work Jimmy puts in, I also see to that he gets the best of beds, so that he is rewarded for his sincere endeavors. I know tough memory foam dog beds are the ideal one for dogs. For, they come in all size and shape, well-packed with quality foam and really offer smooth resting for the dogs. After all, every dog deserves its share and we just can’t deny them that. A memory foam dog bed can just be the excellent gift you can provide your canine.
