If I could go to any country for free, I would choose to go to Italy. Italy is my country of heritage, but I have never had the opportunity to travel. I would love, by the end of my life, to be able to travel to the place where I have for so many years called my home. I would love to see the culture, the sites, the people, the food, the music, the laughter, the love, the villages, the history, the tragedy, the agriculture, everything that is so foreign to me but that should not be. I would travel to Italy.
One Hour to Live
If there was only one hour left to live, I would spend it in the comfort of the presence of my family. We would gather around each other in the living room, all 6 of us including the dogs, and tell each other how much we love each other. I would prepare a hot drink in a large mug, and pass it around the circle, from youngest to oldest, until everybody had had their share. Then we would step outside, and face our fate. Whatever was out there that was making this happen; we would not shy from it for a second.

Living in the Spirit of the Universe
Sometimes when I’ve been working for too long without a vacation, I look outside my office window, see the landscape, and just think that I should be out there, living amongst the trees and the animals, surviving off the land, and getting in touch with nature. I feel like throwing it all away and escaping to the unknown, using the survival skills I learned through the Boy Scout program. It’d be tough, sure, but it’s supposed to be tough. It’s supposed to be a long haul everyday just to get food, shelter, and water. That’s what living is all about. Office work depresses me.
Major League Baseball is played by world class players. Only those professional players from the USA and Canada who are the very best get to play in the League. Major League Baseball players have a huge fan following. The current MLB season begins on the first Sunday in April and lasts till the first Sunday in October. During the season each team play 162 games and some of the games are played at night. MLB players are called upon to play six days a week. You can even get small MLB dog jerseys from each team. It is interesting to note that pitchers and catchers train more than other players in the game.
