If I were to find out I’d die in the next 2 weeks, my list of regrets would be pretty large. As I’m a pretty young person, there’s still a lot of stuff I would like to experience in my life, especially traveling to several countries that have always called my attention. I’d also have a lot of regrets about people: There are many people with whom I have a lot to talk about, and I doubt that even with a 2 week notice I’d have enough time to get to it. As of now, I haven’t done much about those things because I’m either incapable of, as travel tends to be quite expensive, or am afraid to do so in the case it plays negatively into any kind of long-term plan. If I were to die though, I’d try getting through that list of regrets pretty quickly.
On the value of decoration
My house is, as of this moment, perfectly fine as a practical entity. It serves my purposes of housing and comfort quite well, and that’s why, if given the oportunity, I’d spend money on decoration. I’m quite partial to paintings, so I would likely decorate the rooms with some, especially modern and impressionist art. In addition, I would likely consider adding some small decorative objects: Mostly objects and paintings that would bring back memories of important events or places, and perhaps my attraction to geometrical shapes will show trhough as well, after all, you can never have too many tessellated octahedrons.

Filling out idle time
The best way to decide how to fill idle time depends on the time you have, and any task you have to do, lest your attention be snared in for too long. When ample time is to focus on valuable entertainment: Something that not only entertains you for the time you take to consume it, but may keep your mind wondering on for hours, if not more. Nothing captures the mind of a man as well as a well written plot, be it from a book, a movie, or any form of media. When shorter spans are all that are available, the best option is surely some small-time entertainment: Perhaps reading some short stories or watching TV.
