If I could change anything about my home, I would remodel my bathroom. The house I live in was built about forty years ago, and everything about the bathroom is either broken or ugly and outdated. The floor is a brown patterned linoleum, the tub is a stained robin’s egg blue, and the walls are a stucco textured off-white. On top of that, the tub leaks! I have tried to improve the bathroom by keeping it clean and decorating it with a cheerful, pretty shower curtain, but still I notice how unpleasant it looks every day. So if I had the means, I would replace everything: the floor, the tub, the sink, the mirror, and even the walls, to make the bathroom look more modern and streamlined.

When I am bored, I usually surf the internet. This is my favorite thing to do when I am bored because there are so many different things to do online. If I want to read the news, I can go to my favorite news blog to read commentary on the latest events. Or, I could go to the website for a news channel, and just watch the news. The internet is great for entertainment reading, because one can access all sorts of magazines and stories online for free, with no wait. You can even use the internet to stay in touch with friends and family on social networking sites, or watch the latest television shows. Surfing the internet is a fun way to spend free time when you are bored.

Between college and work, and especially in the current economic climate, sometimes things get tough. Luckily, I have a constant source of support and inspiration: my husband. Even when my day has been very stressful, and I just want to crawl under the bed and hide, he is there to encourage me. We cheer each other up and urge each other to push on. It’s comforting, because thanks to him I know that even when I think things might turn out horribly, he will stick with me. So I see that things can never be that bad. Plus, knowing that he depends on me just as much as I depend on him, I am always inspired to keep trying and working my hardest.

They say that among all the animals a dog is man’s best friend, and I totally agree. Dogs have been, from time immemorial, faithful companions to man. Though they may not be able to talk they are among the many few animals which are smart and intelligent, and given the right training they can do so many things. It’s dogs that are used to aid the blind, to sniff out drugs, and even be K-9 helpers to the police, and they are also used to entertain. In many instances dog have even become life saviors to those who own them. Children and toddlers find a gentle pet in dogs because they treat them gently. Familiarizing a child with is dog can be done by using the best dog toys. They can start stuffed ones for the toddlers and then progressing on to toys that may be made of safe plastic to the more advanced ones. As long as we give them a love and a lot of caring and feel they are part of the family dog too would always be faithful and to an extent may even give up their life if they sense any danger to their master and his family. Truly dogs are man’s best friend. Thank you for the opportunity.
